The next WVARA meeting will be Wednesday, September 9, in the conference room at the West Valley Branch Library (1243 San Tomas Aquino Road in San Jose). Note: this will be our club’s first meeting at this new location. This month’s presentation will also be viewable online via Zoom. Zoom login details are at the end of this message. Member of the Month is Coming Soon

WVARA is more than repeaters, radios, antennas, and meetings — it’s the people who bring the club to life. Our upcoming Member of the Month feature will introduce you to some of the operators who make our amateur radio community such an interesting and welcoming place.

Each month, we’ll spotlight a WVARA member and share a little about their journey into amateur radio, their favorite parts of the hobby, current projects, operating interests, and perhaps a story or two from along the way.
